Inhalation:          Exposure by inhalation is not likely to be hazardous.  Single intratracheal instillation of 6.2 x 108 cfu of A. radiobacter K1026 into male and female rats resulted in no indication of toxicity or pathogenicity.

 

7.          FIRST AID:

 

Eyes:                Hold eye open and rinse slowly and gently with water for 15-20 minutes. Remove contact lenses, if present, after the first 5 minutes, then continue rinsing eye. Call a poison control center or doctor for treatment advice.

 

Skin:                 Wash thoroughly with soap and water.  Remove and wash contaminated clothing before re-using.

 

Inhalation:        No known exposure hazard.

 

8.          HANDLING PRECAUTIONS:

 

Do not apply this product in a way that will contact workers or other persons, either directly or through drift.  Only protected handlers may be in the area during application.  Applicators and other handlers must wear long sleeved shirt and long pants or coveralls, waterproof gloves and shoes plus socks.  As a general precaution when exposed to potentially high concentrations of living microbial products such as this, all mixers/loaders and applicators must wear a dust/mist filtering respirator meeting NIOSH standards of at least N-95, R-95 or P-95.

 

Wash hands before eating, drinking, chewing gum, using tobacco or using the toilet.  Remove personnel protection equipment immediately after handling this product.  If gloves are worn, wash the outside of gloves before removing.  As soon as possible, wash thoroughly and change into clean clothing.

 

9.          STORAGE AND TRANSPORT:

 

Store at refrigeration temperature (35-40°F) and use before the expiration date. Do not store cartons where they can be punctured or crushed by sharp or heavy objects.  Do not store part of an opened packet as it may deteriorate through contamination.  Store NOGALL™ separate from other pesticides, fertilizers, food and feed to prevent cross contamination.  Stow and handle parcels carefully during transport.
