Skin Contact: Not a skin irritant. Prolonged exposure is not likely to cause skin irritation but gloves are recommended for handling. A single dose of 0.5 g of NOGALL™ product to the skin of albino rabbits produced no erythema or edema and, therefore, is not considered to be a dermal irritant.
Ingestion: Not toxic. Single interperitoneal injection of 2.8 x 108 cfu of A. radiobacter K1026 into male and female mice caused no apparent treatment related toxicity or pathogenicity. Single administration of 1.21 x 108 cfu of A. radiobacter K1026 into male and female rats by oral gavage caused no apparent signs of toxicity.
